Introduction

The Parish of Herstmonceux is located in the south-eastern area of Wealden District within East Sussex. It is situated around the main A271 road which runs between Ninfield and Bexhill in the east and some 4 miles east of Hailsham in the west. Predominantly rural in nature, the parish contains the settlements of Herstmonceux, Cowbeech and Windmill Hill. There are a wide range of services and facilities which serve the local community.
